RoomToWrite is a new organisation dedicated to encouraging aspiring and professional writers to escape domestic and other commitments for a weekend of intense writing development in a luxurious, aesthetically pleasing environment. Whitworth Hall, with its deer park, walled garden and lake, can offer just this opportunity and inspiration. The wider attractions of the unique history and landscape of the North East of England have additional inspirational charms for writers.

Edit, Pitch and Sell

November 13th 2010 9.30-5.00pm at Whitworth Hall

Bring your completed, or nearly completed prose manuscript – novels, memoirs, family histories, short story collections – learn how to complete your final edit, prepare a letter and synopsis as well as research suitable agents and publishers, or self publishing options.

Cost for the day including lunch and afternoon tea £120.00 - £100.00 for bookings before the 1st of June
